recover files from an image of a formatted disk

Working with an image of a partition rather than the physical disk won't reduce chances of recovery by some other method and may even be quicker.

distinguish between existing and deleted files

Tests seem to show that all files are listed. It would be useful to be able to use filters to show those that aren't currently extant.

have an LDRP context menu entry in Explorer

that would let me be able to see/select for recovery files previously deleted from the current/selected folder(s), so that I can easily restore these.

linux boot disk created fine on cdr media, but no bottable device found, kjl56 for more info

Response from the site administrator
Lazesoft, 01.10.2012
That means the linux version of Lazesoft Data Recovery Boot Disk has some hardware compatibility problem with you computer. Please create WinPE version of Lazesoft Data Recovery Boot Disk. WINPE boot disk has better hardware compatibility. If you have any another question, please free to contact Lazesoft support Team at support@lazesoft.com.
